Freedom

So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

~ John 8:36

Over two thousand years ago, the Messiah came in the form of flesh and blood. He lived a flawless, blameless life. He paid a great penalty for our sins. His love for us was far beyond all measure. The day He gave His life was the day a proclamation was sealed by His blood for our freedom. Yet two thousand years later, many live their lives shackled to their sins, in the cesspools of depravity and want.

Men and women still walk aimlessly in the dark when a great light has been lit by the power of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. People yearn for an unobtainable illusion of happiness to fill in the gaping hole of hopelessness they feel, yet true peace and joy is just at their fingertips if they were only to reach towards the Savior. Many are bankrupt in their souls when the wealth of true love and forgiveness is right there at their disposal.

The time has come for mankind to come and tap into God’s bank of mercy and grace for a full withdrawal of that love. There is no need to be living a destitute life when it’s readily waiting with a personal routing and account number in your name. No one knows you better or loves you better than Christ. The check is already written by God Almighty and signed by the blood of Jesus.

All our sin debt was paid. The check has your name on it. It will buy your citizenship in the kingdom of heaven. You will have full access to His endless vault of love. You will be debt free and at peace.

Don’t remain manacled to an unnecessary deficit of your sin sick soul. Jesus unequivocally paid the price in full. Grab hold of His nail scarred hands and feet. Wrap your arms around His wounded side. Ask Him to be your Lord and Savior and present to Him your chains of sin. He has the key to untether the weight that holds you down, and you, my friend, will take your first breath of real freedom.

Thank you Father God for supplying my freedom through Your sacrifice of love through Christ Jesus. Amen
